Shaping Birmingham’s Transport Youth Conference
Date: Thursday 2nd April 2009
Time: 9.00am to 3.15pm
Venue: Banqueting Suite, Birmingham Council House
Aim: The event will bring together young people from across the city to discuss sustainable travel solutions with key-decision makers, and most importantly participants will be voting on the winner of the “Your Vision 2026 Competition” to be presented to the council.
Open to young people aged 14+ the conference will comprise of a number of workshops and presentations with a round-table discussion at the end. The round-table discussions will not only be with delegates but representatives from Centro, Network Express West Midlands, cyclist groups and other transport-related organisations.
Lunch and refreshments will also be provided. There is no charge for entry to this event.
