Rules
Submission of entries is according to the following terms and conditions:
- The deadline for all entries is 1800 on Thursday 19 March 2009 – no entries will be accepted after this point under any circumstances.
- Groups must consist of at least three people, but no more than five.
- Presentations should last between five and ten minutes long.
- Participants must be aged between 14 and 19 years old.
- Groups must be able to present at the Transport Conference on Thursday 2nd April 2009 at Birmingham’s Council House. Participants should be prepared to answer up to ten minutes worth of questions from delegates here.
- Expenses occurred in the production any presentations lie with the participants involved; neither Birmingham City Council nor its partners will reimburse such expenses.
- The Steering Group will provide the same pre-release information to all groups on the blog – no help can be provided to individual groups by the Steering Group. The only questions that can be answered relate to the conditions of entry or queries about the event.
- All work submitted should be that of the individuals involved.
- The judge’s decision as to which groups are put forward to the Shaping Birmingham’s Transport conference is final.
